bakeStuff: Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Nutella Cookies
I stole this recipe from Snoop Dogg, then modified it somewhat. No, there's no ganj in it, though it does use butter so if you wanted to...
Materials:
- 2.0 cups all purpose flour
- 1.0 tsp baking soda
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 2 sticks of butter
- 0.5 cups creamy peanut butter
- 0.5 cups packed brown sugar
- 0.5 cups granulated sugar
- a handful of salted peanuts
- a big ol' scoop of nutella, about a third to half a cup
- 1.0 tsp vanilla
- Half a normal bag of chocolate chips
- 1 large egg, or two if they're kinda small.
Heat the oven to 375 degrees, ideally with two racks in there.
In a small bowl, stir together flour, salt, and baking soda
in a stand mixer, or large bowl, combine the butter, sugars, peanut butter, nutella until it's all nice and smooth, then pop the egg(s) and vanilla in there.
Slowly mix in the flour mix, and then the peanuts and choco chips, until it resembles most any other cookie dough you've made.
Form into small balls a little smaller than a golf ball, though through trial an error you can go bigger and make giant cookies. If you try that, flatten em out a bit before baking. Put em on a greased baking sheet, or lined with parchment paper. Space em out a little, like about a dozen per sheet.
Bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes give or take. Let em cool on the baking sheets for five minutes or so, then transfer to a wire rack to cool the rest of the way.
Eat em. They keep well for a few days but yeah right, like that's happenin.
